The Adran Plate Conference comes to the final round as a win for Briton Ferry Llansawel over Pontypridd United will secure the plate for  the Reds.  A loss or draw for ferry could allow Barry Town United to leapfrog them if they were to beat Aberystwyth at Park Avenue.

Match Information:

Opponents: Pontypridd United

Competition: Adran Premier

Venue: USW Sports Park

Tickets/Entry: TBC

Match Preview:

With one game remaining Pontypridd United will be looking to not end the season without a point. The Dragons have lost all their games in the league this season despite coming close to taking points from Barry, Aberystwyth and Ferry.

A late Meg Kearle goal denied a away point for Ponty in November at the road. Maia Owen had given the Reds the lead in the first half but Jemima Lister levelled for the visitors. Ponty held out until the 83rd minute when Laura-May Walkley-Witts set up Kearle for the winning goal.

After a goalless first half at Park Avenue the Dragons took the lead though Madison Lloyd gave them the lead in 52nd minute. A penalty from Libby Isaac six minutes later pulled Aber level and Rebecca Mathias hit the winner late on.

For the Reds a win will ensure they top the Adran Plate Conference. A draw may be enough depending on how Barry Town get on in their match v Aberystwyth. The reds are unbeaten in phase two with two wins and three draws. One of those wins came over Sunday's opponents with Freya Peyton (2) and Lucy Powell getting the goals.

Flashback:

The Reds secured their first win this season in their last visit to USW Sports Park.  After defeat in the opening two games the win was much needed and got Ferry up and running.

After a competitive but goalless first half which saw chances both ways, the deadlock was broken early in the second half.  Lowri Ridings heading in from a Meg Kearle corner after 50 minutes.  Ashley Griffiths then set up Jade Crofts who made it 2-0.  A great solo run saw Maia Owen add a third before a late fourth goal from Casey Daniels secured the three points.
