Reds with 3-0 win on the Road
Briton Ferry Llansawel scored three as they beat Aberystwyth Town at Park Avenue. After leading by a goal at half time Ferry added two late goals to round off a comfortable win.
A tight early period saw both side look to gain an advantage but as the half went on Ferry began to take control. A handball in the box after 28 minutes allowed Lucy Powell to put the Reds ahead with a well struck spot kick.
Ferry continued to push in the second half looking to extend their lead. Freya Peyton and Meg Kearle both having chances. Kearle was not to be denied as she added the Reds second in the 80th minute. Ferry added a third in added time when Jade Crofts came off the bench to score the Reds third.

Briton Ferry lead the Adran Premier Plate Conference by three points after 17 games, with Barry Town three points behind them.
After a back and fourth start to the game it was the host that had the first real chance to score but Courtney Young made a decent save.
Maia Owen was causing Aber all sorts of problems throughout the game had the best of Ferry’s early chances. She went past a defender before hitting a shot at goal but just a little too close to the keeper.
Another chance then came when Lily Evans, making her first start, found Manon Thomas out wide. Thomas sent the ball into the centre to Meg Kearle who went for goal but her shot was blocked.
As Ferry turned up the pressure they were awarded a penalty as a stray Aber hand made contact with the ball in the box. Lucy Powell made no mistake from the resulting penalty.

The Reds kept looking for the second goal and Maia Owen was able to find Freya Peyton in the box. Peyton taking a shot at goal but it was saved by the keeper.

Ferry went straight on the attack after the break and had a chance within the first minutes of the restart. Peyton cutting in from the left side looking to find the far corner but her effort was just wide.
Ferry kept pushing forward and Kearle ran onto a ball over the Aber defence. Kearle went wide around the keeper and sent the ball back into the box towards Thomas. Thomas lifted the ball towards the top corner but it was too high and went over.
Freya Peyton was then able to send Thomas though on goal. Thomas took aim and shot but Sophie Steele made the save.
The game continued with Ferry pushing but their host were not out of this game. The Ferry defence was need to keep Aber at bay and Young made a big save that stopped Aber drawing level.

The second goal did come and it was Meg Kearle who got it. A pinpoint pass from Lucy Powell sent Kearle away and clear with just the keeper to beat and she calmly rolled the ball past Steele.
Ferry made sure of the points in added time when Meg Kearle sent Jade Crofts in on goal. With just the keeper in front of her Crofts hit a low shot right into the corner of the goal.
