That win is the only one from their six games with defeats in the league against Cardiff City, The New Saints and Barry Town United. They drew with Wrexham in the Adran Trophy in a thrilling contest that saw them come from behind twice. Millie Gardner with a 97th minute goal to take the game to a shoot out which Wrexham won.

Late goals have been a theme for Aber who also scored late in Ferry’s last visit to Park Avenue. Lily Moralee-Hughes gave Aber the lead before two Meg Kearle goals turned the game around but the Reds were unable to hold out for the win with Rebecca Mathias equalising in the 96th minute.
