The second half saw a tighter game as Pontypridd managed to craft some chances for themselves.  Meg Kearle added a fourth early into the half but Ponty got a goal back though Gwenllian Crane.  Crofts hit the bar as the woodwork came to Ponty’s rescue again.  Lowri Ridings scored a fifth for the Reds with 83 minutes played.

The win secures a fifth place finish in the Adran Premier for Ferry four points ahead of Barry Town United in sixth place.

Ferry began the game looking for the first goal and after two corners that missed everyone in the box, Jade Crofts had the ball and tried to cross it to Jess Denscombe.  Denscombe was able to get her head on it but could only direct the ball wide.

Lucy Powell was cynically fouled in the middle of the Pitch giving the Reds a free kick.  Powell took the kick and went for goal but Anna Phelps made the save.

Pontypridd then gave Powell anther set piece to try from committing another foul shortly after.  This time Powell found the inside of the far post to give the Reds the lead.

Ferry kept the pressure on as Alice Broadley broke in to the box.  Broadley fired a low shot that again was saved by the keeper.

Ferry were relentless in their attacking and hit the bar multiple times.  First Crofts rattled the bar then Jess Denscombe hit a rocket towards goal with struck the woodwork.
