Under 19's: Barry Town United 1-3 Briton Ferry Llansawel

Briton Ferry began their Genero Adran Under 19's South campaign with a tricky trip to Ocean Park Arena to face Barry Town.


The Reds were given the chance to take an early lead with a penalty after 19 minutes. Olivia Kett-White scoring confidently from the spot kick.


Barry were level after 29 minutes, albeit fortunate as Olivia Hicks turned the ball past Courtney Young. Ella Smitham restored the lead though before half time with Grace Hughes assisting.

Six minutes into the second half Gwen Strang set Emma Ferns to score Ferry's third.


With Barry unable to find a way back into the game Ferry leave Cardiff with a opening day win.
