Wrexham’s route to the semi final saw them beat Llandudno 9-0 in the first knockout round.  A hat trick from Mariam Mahmood and doubles from Rosie Hughes and Katie Barker helping them to victory.  Their semi final saw a thrilling 2-2 draw with Aberystwyth with Wrexham winning on penalties.  Faye Hillier-Knox with the deciding kick to send Wrexham in the semi final.

Wrexham currently top the Adran Premier two points ahead of Cardiff City, The Bluebirds having a game in head.  Wrexham have won nine of their 12 games but fell to defeat in their last match.  In a crunch match between the top two Erin Lovett turned the ball into her own net to give Cardiff City the lead at Cardiff International Sports Campus.  Faye Hillier-Knox equalised for Wrexham on the hour mark but Cardiff showed why they are champions as they won the game in added time thanks to a Fiona Barry strike in the fifth minute of added time.
