This Sunday Briton Ferry Llansawel head to the capital to face Adran Premier champions Cardiff City. This game finds both teams looking for their first points after defeats on the opening day.
Reds manager Rhys Thomas is looking forward to the test of taking on the reigning champions saying,
"Cardiff are a top side and there’s no better test for us than going up against the champions.
"These are the games where you learn the most about your team, and with our young squad, it’s a great opportunity for the players to step up and show what they’re capable of.”
Despite Cardiff losing their opening match Thomas says that his side will approach the game in the same manner. Thomas said that nothing really changes for him as he prepares for the game.
"We are looking to focus on ourselves following last week's game, where we had a disappointing second half.
"Of course, we’re aware Cardiff will want a response themselves, but for us it’s about building on what we did well last week in the first half and learning from the areas where we fell short in the second.
"We’ve had a tough start and have key players out, but the group is working hard and we need to show that we can bounce back as a group as well."
