On a windy and cold December day at Old Road another side tried to take points away from Briton Ferry.  Swansea City came having never dropped a point against Ferry but today became the 25th team to leave with no points.

The visitors started the game quickly and soon had the Reds pushed back.  Swans captain Katy Hosford went close to giving them the lead but Ferry held their ground.  As the half went on they came back into the game and took the lead after 24 minute thanks to Lucy Powell.  The reds then had chances to extend their lead before the break.

The second half saw a hard fought game as Swansea looked to get back level.  Courtney Young was needed to make a big save and Taite Trivett had chances that she sent wide or over the bar.  The Reds saw two goals disallowed as they looked to double their lead but in the 88 minute there was no doubt when Alison Witts scored Ferry's second.
