Briton Ferry were crowed Genero Adran South Champions after a 4-1 win over Caldicot Town. Not only battling against a determined Caldicot side the Reds had to battle horrendous weather conditions as rain and wind swept across Neath Sports Centre.
Manon Thomas gave the Reds the lead 13 minutes in after being set though on goal by Fleur Jenkins. Thomas with a cool finish past the Caldicot keeper. The pair combined for the second goal this time with Thomas the provider. She set up Jenkins to double the lead.
Lucy Powell added a third four minutes from half time but Caldicot were able to get one back just before the break. Courtney Young first pulled off a fine save but was adjudged to have fouled the Caldicot forward. Hannah Foulkes scored from the spot.
Caldicot battle hard throughout the second half and the Reds missed several chances to extend their lead. The Reds kept at their task and Brooke Llewellyn got the fourth goal to secured the win.
The win secures the Genero Adan South title and the Reds will now face Wrexham for a place in the Adran Premier.
