Its a return to The Renewable Centre Stadium on Sunday as Briton Ferry Llansawel face Aberystwyth Town in the Genaro Adran Premier.

From The Manager:
Aberystwyth have always provided teams with tough matches and reds manager Rhys Thomas understands that his team will face another huge test this Sunday when the Green and Blacks visit The Renewable Centre Stadium.
“Aberystwyth will be a real test. They’ve got quality in dangerous areas across the pitch and can hurt teams if you switch off.
“They've recorded some big wins this season but we’ve done our homework on them.
“We know they’ll be organised, competitive, and looking to take something from the game.
“At this level, there are no easy fixtures, and we’re expecting a proper battle.”

After three wins in a row Thomas commented on how staying focused is key is maintaining a good run of form.
“The last few performances have been very good, and three wins in a row gives us a lot of confidence and momentum going into this game, which definitely helps.
“What's more important though is that the players have continued working hard and staying focused.
“We are taking it one game at a time and feel ready to go and put on another strong display Sunday."
Ferry Flashback: Reds head to Welsh Cup Final
In February 2023 the two sides met in a Welsh Cup Semi Final at Carmarthen’s Richmond Park. The tie represented a great opportunity for both teams to reach the final. Aber were fighting in the Adran Premier at the time of the match while the Reds were looking to secure the Adran South title.

While Aber were heading into the game as slight favourites Briton Ferry Llansawel came in in good form and confident of upsetting the odds.
The Reds started well and took the game to the Green and Blacks. Lowri Baker breaking the deadlock on 19 minutes to give Ferry the lead. The Reds started the second half quickly and by the hour mark were three up. Megan Kearle and Fleur Jenkins with the goals. Despite their best efforts Aber were unable to break the Reds defence.
Ferry went on to the final in a losing effort to Cardiff City.
Opposition Focus:
Aberystwyth Town come to The Renewable Centre Stadium this Sunday.
The Green and Blacks have played in the Welsh top flight from the 2019/2020 season and have their highest finish has been fourth place. They have played in the Adran Premier since its inception and have twice finished in the top half of the table.
Last season saw then avoid relegation by three points from Cardiff Met. Aber winning just one game across the league season.
This season Aber sit in sixth place currently with two wins from their five matches played. Aber made a strong start to the season with wins over Pontypridd United and TNS. Since then their form has dropped seeing them lose the last three matches against Swansea City, Barry Town and Cardiff City.
Goals from Modlen Gwynne and Carys Bufton gave Aber a 2-0 win over Pontypridd on the opening day and they followed that with a 1-0 win over The New Saints with Shauna Chambers getting the winning goal. After a good start Aber have lost three games in a row.

The Reds hold a good record against Aber winning the last three meetings between the sides. The last meeting between the sides was settled by a Laura-May Walkley-Witts goal in the 84th minute at Old Road.
Aber will come to The Renewable Centre Stadium and despite current form will offer a tough test for the Reds.
